Sponsor of the PanHellenic Driving Instructors Conference on Road Safety, Athens, 23rd of April 2016
The Pan-Hellenic Association of Driving Instructors (POEO) organized a workshop entitled “Driving instructors and road safety: The primary sector in road safety production”. The event took place on Saturday, April 23, 2016, under the auspices of the Greek Ministry of Infrastructure, Transport and Networks. It was held under the frame of Athens Money Show 2016, at the Astir Palace Hotel.
During the conference, several discussions occurred between driving instructors and organisations/institutions towards the “production” of better drivers with knowledge on road safety and awareness issues, through the improvement of the unique formal education and examination process related to road safety in Greece.
In the same time, driving instructors provided safe and eco-driving mini seminars to the visitors of Athens Money Show 2016, using Smart Drive’s passenger car and motorcycle driving simulators. Moreover, information material was distributed due to the Easter mass exodus. Road safety experts from univerisities, research, traffic police, scientific institutions, driving instructors, road infrastructure and education/awareness technologies companies were invited.
Sponsors of the conference were the Athens Chamber of Tradesman and Smart Drive.
